Congratulations needs to go out to Nate Bortnick earning a Jester's award in Lighting Design on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026! Nate received the award for State level recognition at the Jester Awards for Outstanding Lighting Design for SpongeBob the Musical. For those who have had the opportunity to get to know Nate, he has been the technical backbone for several of our Rock Creek programs these last two years. In receiving this award, Nate was matched up against students from 6A, 5A, and 4A programs with substantially larger budgets and well established facilities than Rock Creek has available. Great job Nate!
