Rock Creek Varsity VB goes 3-0 on the night, posting wins over Smoky Valley, Abilene, and TMP. Good job ladies!
Rock Creek HS Girls Golf takes 3rd at Concordia this evening. Rock Creek had two top 5 placers, Makenna Wallace who took 2nd shooting 89 and Jovi Griffith who tied for 3rd with a score of 92. Reagan French took 6th, Alli Louquet took 7th, Jordyn Schneider tied for 8th, and Claire Schimke tied for 19th out of 33 total golfers. Good job ladies!
Results from tonight: Var VB falls in game 2 vs Clay Center, 16-25, 17-25. JV loses two games, 11-25, 13-25 game 1, then 16-25, 15-25 game 2. Freshmen do pick up the win in game 2 though, winning in straight sets. Our girls will look to bounce back this Thursday at Abilene.
Update from Rock Creek Volleyball. Varsity Volleyball falls to Clay Center game 1, 24-26, 21-25. Freshmen also lose a close game 25-17, 24-26, 11-15.

RCHS Girls Golf placed 12th out of 16 teams last Thursday at Carey Park Golf Course. Top performers included Jordyn Schneider and Jovi Griffith who tied 37th overall out of 93 golfers.
RCHS Freshmen Volleyball places 2nd at Wamego, going 4-1 overall in their first tournament of the year!
Rock Creek HS Volleyball came out hitting hard tonight, competing with Wamego and 6A Junction City and 6A State Qualifiers Manhattan. Varsity looked sharp, and picked up one come from behind set vs Manhattan!
RC, due to the heat this afternoon, 8/21/2025, , HS Cross Country will begin practice in doors at 3:30 pm and have a limited outdoor practice. HS Girls Golf will have a shortened practice at Onaga. HS Football will practice late, starting at 6pm at the Field House.

And the Rock Creek Girls team closes with a strong finish to place 4th at the 4A State Girls Track Championships. They come away with our first ever Relay Gold Medal and the highest points ever at the State meet (52)! Great job girls, we are very proud of you!
