For the Boys, RC qualifies for sure 1 in Pole Vault, 1 in Long Jump and Triple Jump, and 1 in the 110 Hurdles. We also had several place 4th through 7th place.
For sure, RC Girls qualify 2 in High Jump, 1 in Triple Jump, 1 in Shot Put, 1 in Discus, 1 in Jav, the 4x100 team, the 4x400 team, 1 in the 200, 1 in the 400, and 2 in the 300 Hurdles, with several others placing 4th through 7th place.
Regional Track Update: Rock Creek Girls take 2nd to the 2024 State Champs Eudora, scoring 118 to Eudoras 126. RC Boys place 6th overall at Regionals.

And Rock Creek sends ANOTHER team to state! RC Softball picks up the win over Tonganoxie, 10-6, on the 4vs5 matchup of the 4A Softball Regional championship! The Mustang softball team will now compete in Salina next Thursday for the 5th time in 5 years! Great job ladies!
4A Regional Update: #13 seed El Dorado falls to #4 seed Rock Creek 6-7. Rock Creek advances to the championship vs Tonganoxie. Game underway.
4A Regional Softball update: Tonganoxie defeats Ottawa 8-0 in game #1. Game #2 featuring #13 seed El Dorado vs #4 seed Rock Creek will begin in about 20 minutes!
Rock Creek HS Baseball qualifies for 4A State once again, defeating Louisburg 3-0 in game 3 of the 4A Regional hosted at Rock Creek. HS Baseball will now compete next Thursday in Salina in the State Championship tournament!
Final game #2 at Rock Creek 4A East Regional: Rock Creek 10, Eudora 0 after 6 innings. The championship game will feature #5 seed Louisburg vs #4 seed Rock Creek. The game should begin at approximately 7:05 pm.
Final Game 1 4A Regional Baseball at Rock Creek: 5 seed Louisburg defeats 12 seed Ottawa 5-4. Next game up in 20 minutes 4 seed Rock Creek hosts 13 seed Eudora.
Rock Creek Golf competed in Regionals today, advancing two and placing a close 4th place! The team shot 56, with individuals Coley Burgess (place 9th, 80) and Hudson Edelman (place 12, 81) both qualifying for State. Good job HS Golf!
Rock Creek Softball and Baseball will both host Regionals again this year! Brackets are attached. Baseball will host on Tuesday 5/20, with games starting at 2:00 pm. Softball will host on Wednesday 5/21, with games starting at 3:00 pm. KSHSAA Admission, $8 Adult, $6 Student.

Commencement for the Class of 2025 will take place Saturday, 5/17 at the Rock Creek High School main Gymnasium beginning at 3:00 pm.
Doors will open to our public at 2:00 pm, and we have informed seniors to arrive at the Aux Gym no later than 2:30 pm.
We welcome all who would like to attend and help celebrate with our Seniors this momentous event.

RC, a quick message from Coach Zabel on the heels of last night's track meet:
Our HS Girls track team won their 1st NCKL meet by 62 points last night. This is an unusual back-to-back situation in that they were the MEL champions last year and NCKL champions this year. The boys were very impressive also in finishing 2nd in this very tough meet. The night was capped by our 4x400 Relays who both broke school records. The boys finished 3rd, but broke the school record by 5 seconds. The girl's team were competing against the #2 and #3 teams in State 4A so far this year and came from behind to defeat both with a 4:02 time that could be ranked #1 today in the state or at least very close to it.
