RC, JV Volleyball was also in action this afternoon at our Home Tournament. Overall our JV VB team went 3 and 2, placing 2nd at home after two incredibly close losses to Nemaha Central. There was some very good Volleyball being played. Great job girls, and way to compete!
RC, HS Volleyball competed in a tough tournament this weekend at Hillsboro. Overall the Mustangs went 3 and 2, placing 3rd., taking losses from Halstead and Hillsboro this afternoon. Rock Creek will look to bounce back and compete at home this Tuesday, 10/14, for Senior Night!
RC, shout out to the HS Cross Country Team today for a great race at Riley County! Rock Creek Boys placed 3rd, with individual placers of Liam Johnston (6th), Simeon Bohlen (7th), Mason Berggren (14th), and Coltrane Johnston (23rd). The Girls also got 3rd place, with individual placers of Liv Nipper (2nd), Clare Buessing (3rd), and Lucy Nippert (5th)! Great job Mustangs!

Youth Cheer Night Reminders:
Youth cheer participants will cheer Friday, October 10th at the home Varsity football game against Marysville. Pre-K through 6th grade will cheer the first half, and 5th and 6th grade will have the opportunity to cheer for the 3rd quarter. Participants should meet in the HS Commons at 6:00 to prepare for the game. Drop-off will begin no earlier than 5:45 p.m. Participants will receive their bow and t-shirt that evening. On the night of the performance, participants should wear black/dark leggings, tennis shoes, and hair styled for a bow.
If the weather is on the cooler side, your cheerleader can wear a long sleeve shirt, hoodie/jacket and can wear the t-shirt over any additional layers.
