The Horizon Award is given to beginning teachers who demonstrate exceptional promise in their careers; who inspire students, are innovative in their classroom, who are highly effective in their efforts to educate their students, and make a meaningful impact on their school communities. Ms. Armstrong exemplifies all of these.

Last, I want to share a heart felt thank you to everyone who worked to make this basketball tournament possible. We had some extremely dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and several key volunteers. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped the Flurry on Flush happen!
RC, we would also like to recognize our All Tournament team selections from the Flurry on Flush Basketball tournament Kylee Frazee, Rory Pitzer, and Boys Tournament MVP Gavin Rosa! Great job you three!
RC, shout out to our HS Girls and Boys Basketball programs tonight. RCHS Girls played hard, but fell to Hays in the 3rd place game early in the day, losing 45 to 55. RCHS Boys took 1st place however, defeating Hays 56 to 32!

RCHS Varsity Boys defeat Eudora 68-61 to advance to the finals vs. Hays. This game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm.
HS Varsity Girls Basketball falls to Eudora 55-58. Rock Creek will now play at noon tomorrow vs Hays at the HS Gym.
HS Wrestling Update: HS Varsity Boys fall to Rep County 33-48, then pick up a win over Wellington 54-18. Overall RC finishes 3-2 in the Marion County Duals.

Rock Creek, quick reminder for tonight's Basketball Tournament: admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students. Due to this being a Varsity level tournament, we will NOT be accepting activity passes. Both the HS Office entrance and the HS Activity entrance will be accessible.
Final Varsity Boys at Marysville: Rock Creek 60, Marysville 24.
Final Varsity Girls: Rock Creek 65, Marysville 52
At half, Varsity Girls Bb leads Marysville 38 to 18. After both JV teams take home wins, C Team Boys also add a win as well.
Update for HS Basketball at Marysville: Rock Creek picks up wins at both the JV games this evening.
