JV Girls Golf takes 2nd at Osage City tonight, shooting 236 as a team. Medaling, Leanne Doucett places 3rd, Ella Karnes ties for 5th, and Ryli Sorell ties for 11th. Good job ladies!
Rock Creek Varsity Girls Golf does well at Wamego tonight as well. Overall, the team places 4th out of 10 teams, shooting 396, with one golfer, Jordyn Schneider finishing in the top 10, tied 5th shooting +16.
Rock Creek Freshman VB team takes 3 wins at JC this evening, defeating Clay Center 25-17, 25-13; JC 25-6, 25-18; and Chapman 25-14, 25-13. Good job ladies!
RC, we have been informed that Cross Country at Wamego originally scheduled for Saturday 9/12/2026 has been moved to Friday morning 9/11/2026 with 4A Var/JV Girls races scheduled to begin at 8:30 am, followed by 4A Var/JV boys. This is due to anticipated storms on Saturday, 9/12.
Rock Creek Volleyball closes out with a sweep of Concordia tonight. Varsity wins game 2, 25-10, 25-15. JV wins game 1 and 2, 25-23, 25-10, then 25-5, 25-6. C-Team/Freshmen win 25-17, 25-12. Good job ladies!

RC, results from today's athletics events. HS JV Football picks up a win over Centralia today in an early game, 49-0. Freshman VB also does well, picking up wins over Rossville, St. Mary's, and Riley County tonight!
Hello Rock Creek. Due to potential extreme heat Monday, Centralia has advised we move the start of the JV Football game up to 10:00 am. For student safety, we have agreed. The game will now take place at 10am on 9/7. A limited concession stand will be offered.

RC Varsity Volleyball goes 1-1 on the night before play was suspended due to a facilities issue. Rock Creek picks up a win vs Smokey Valley, before dropping a close contest vs TMP. Game was suspended in the first set, and we will look to make that contest up in the future.
Also shout out to JV golf today. They placed 5th out of 8 teams on a hot day at Wamego. Individual stand out Jaeleigh Schrek tied for 4th, shooting 19 over par on 9 holes!
The Boys team saw a champion with Liam Johnston putting everything into the race and finishing 1st, Coltrane Johnston finishing 4th, Grant Slough 10th, JoSean Gibbs 12th, Dylan Nelson 18th, Colton Davis 26th, and Gage Christensen 35th!
